It’s really been a long time coming and I can say “life’s happening”
Caught in the web of this thing called focus, had to deal with life as an undegraduate and slay while at it.
Finally out of the system (only for a while I guess, till there’s another degree to bag 😄) and glad to be back at this.
Okay, I know I can get us to relate to this👇
Well, We all go through this phase of withdrawing from what we love doing, our unique activities, our hobbies, our very true identity to focus on a project we currently have to smash!
I personally would always advice a friend to step down his/her regular a bit, at least for the period of the project. We all do this, we are all victims of this.
But com’on isn’t it unfair?
One shouldn’t stop what he loves doing the most for some boring project. If doing any project will separate you from what you love doing the most i.e a positive unique feature about you that makes you full of purpose and give you so much meaning while doing it, then that project should be dropped.
Why focus so much on a thing that separates you from purpose, from essence, from hope!😩?
Don’t get me wrong, it’s okay if we decide to separate ourselves from our distractions every now and then to achieve a goal, that’s dope.
It gets wrong and boring when the project you’re facing is totally different from the purpose you’re chasing. When you lose yourself while at it.
We often bury our purpose and essence when we deceive ourselves saying we’re keeping away from it in order to complete a present project or goal.
There’s no goal without a purpose, a goal makes no sense without it being inline with what you love doing that has been assigned to you and when you do it, gives you so much essence.
You are on a project and have to stop some purposeful acts, that’s a boredom mission, a very stressful one you’ll keep complaining about.
What’s a project without a purpose?
What’s a project without your heart?
Let’s keep this conversation going👇👇👇👇
